AT Shift Gears Questions.

Recently I notice when i park my car in a slope or a down hill either backwards or forwads.

When I leave the car there for a while come back and start the car and try to shift it to DRIVE, it would sometimes be really hard to shift it!

Any ideas?

thats normal with most A/Ts
you park it, take your foot off the brake, it rolls back a little, the gears lock up and it makes it harder to brake park.
just get into the habit of pulling the parking brake all the time and it wont roll on you and you wont have that problem

pull the parking brake before you shift the tranny to p position whenever you park your car and when you start your car shift into drive then release the parking brake and no more locking the gears
