hey guys, its me NISMOMAXMAN (NISMOMAXMAN2) is my school computer name. Anyhow I'm debating on whether to purchase a 97 (maroon) 5spd max, with 98,000miles. There asking $2,500. I have a 95 (white) auto with 150,000miles now, and I purchased it for $5000. So I got taken, now I need some opinions. The 5spd is clean inside and out, only thing is, the engine makes a annoying whinning noise while on (I'm guessing its some belts or timing chain) Anyhow the car is good, but it stock. My car (95/auto/white) has y-pipes, UDP, CAI, VBmod, and some extras... I still owe $$ for the car. Should I try to sell my white car for what I got it for?? and let them keep the extra PERFORMANCEs???? and with the money I get from it buy the 5spd? Or should I just purchase the 5spd as a project car? (our is it even worth it??) I'm confused.... Any ideas in how I can win in both situations??? (last time I had my track time on the car, and some people inquired on how much I wanted for the car, since there son's liked it?(they assumed the track time and car # was a tel number) Thanks

 

i would sell ur car but take all the mods off it first and then look for a car with a lower mileage. 98 k is alot already but maximas can run for a long time. ur choice i guess. moving up to a newer year maxima is always better and compare the two maximas and then decide.

 

I would do that in a heart beat 5spd is so much more fun to drive
