How do I De-chrome a GXE ?

I would like to get rid of the chrome trim around the windows on my 95 GXE. I like the look of SE black molding. Is it possible to swap the molding or is there better way to go about it ? I don't know if anyone here has done that, but I any feedback would help.

Try Black Out tape. That will do the trick for cheap, and it sticks really well.
It's by the pinstripes and stuff like isle
