h2kPinkPanthr and I doing 90ish on the interstate with Dallas. next to us... VIDEO

Flyby on chris'smax VIDEO

ALL OF THE FOLLOWING VIDEOS ARE IN CAR CAM FROM CUMALOTS CAR (Automatic, JWT ECU w/ 7000RPM redline, and intake) You'll have to excuse my inability to keep the camera still since we were hauling *** and cumalot's car doesn't exactly ride smoothly...

Me sticking my head out of the sunroof on the interstate and recording a video while getting annihilated by bugs...

Jay25 (Left)-(Mods: Mevi, Y-Pipe, test pipe, catback, and intake) vs h2kPinkPanthr (Right)(Intake only): Supposedly, h2kPinkPanthr missed 2nd and 3rd...

You got video of me getting wasted by Bobby? Doh! I didn't know you going to videotape that. As you can hear from the video, I should had the auto in first instead of second. I would still lose, of course, but probably would do a bit better.

I had a hard time keeping up with them. However, considering how fast both cars are, I shouldn't feel too bad. That full tank of gas didn't help either.

Btw, that's me with the blue hat.

Intake is a hacked stock air box and JWT ECU limiter is at 7200 rpm, not 7000 rpm. I didn't know that when we filmed this, so I shifted at 7k. Only later did I find out it was 7200 instead. That raised limiter didn't help since the MEVI wasn't in yet.

You can hear the car just struggling to breath at 7k. I see jay took off the huffer of his 95. Cars look good though.

Looks like a socal mini meet.

Mike, your car is really fast for an automatic man... You've got plenty of potential with your car... keep in mind, Bobby and his car have set the 2nd fastest 1/4 mile time on record for a stock 5spd 4th gen... with a 14.7 time... Bobby can DRIVE. He shifts super fast, he makes me and ceasar look slow, so we've got some serious competition coming from him in the near future... also, for those of you who've never heard a VQ hit 7000 rpm's in real life, it gives you the chills... it's worth getting the JWT ecu just for that.

Mike, It's good to hear h2kFrosty say that your auto has ***** because I know most times you don't think so.

I raced Sprint at the Pike one Saturday night and I ran pretty close to him. He was modded with a 5 speed. Yeah he left me once we got to 60 but I but he thought I but up a good fight. I also raced DMBMaxima's (2k2) on RT15 in CT with his buddies driving and they were impressed also. I was on their a$$es through the turns and the straights.
That's all they talke about at the FrankenCar meet.

What it comes down too is knowing what gear you should be in and keeping the rpm high in each gear. The autos can move when you drives them right.

.....oh yeah those Louisiana roads are horrible, when i drove from san diego to VA i took I-10 all the way. there was practically launch ramps on the highway coming from baton rouge to new orleans i smashed up my kit pretty bad.

I guess you're talking about me. I'm in no hurry to fix it. It have been like that for about one year. I gone through 3 windshields already. If I get another one, it'll be my 4th. So this time I say the heck with it, I'll just leave it alone because if I get a new one, I'll probably get another rock smacking into my windshield again real soon just like the previous times.

Nice videos!!

Do you automatic guys shift manually? I thought that screws up the transmission. If not, I may have to give this a whirl.

Nice vids guys. I can't wait for extended redline.

Shifting manually does absolutly nothing harmful. When manually downshifting, if the RPM is to high the TCM simply won't execute the shift.

I have to manually shift. If not, I can't take advantage of the raised limiter. I don't do it all the time of course.
