I was looking at the stock intake plumbing and was wondering if it would be ok to put a duct from a scoop right in the front near the bumper directly to the air box. I looked at pictures of an oscai and it looked like they fastened the duct to the stock air scoop right where it turns downward and there is a plastic elbow. Basically, I want to know if I can direct air from the front right into the air box. Will this suck up too much crap?

 

your setup: instead of the resonator box, make that into another "ram air duct" with smoother flow than trying to suck cold air from the bottom. right?

i wouldnt expect any huge difference. if i understand what you said, im %70 sure i understand, than it would be the same setup except the air would travel a little smoother in your setup. i dont know if you will feel a difference in that mod but give it a try. it wont hurt...i hope...
