KS harness

I recently purchased a KS harness..while installing this I couldn't remove the old one, the harness attaches itself to the engine compartment via a small piece of wire...any ideas on how to remove this wire w/out cutting it?..Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

There is a squared off "U" clip wire that slides into place and locks the harness to the knock sensor. Is that what you are talking about?

Just take a screw driver and pop the wire straight out, and the KS should slide right out of the harness. It works like a retaining clip on a brake line.

Nope..im actaully replacing wire harness wrapped in black that leads out of the KS...this black wire is attached to the engine bay via a small gray wire...im having troubling removing this small gray wire., w/out cutting it.

Why are you replacing the wiring? Is yours fried?
Also for anyone who knows the answer, what fuse sends power to the KS?
