Cel 0905

I am getting a CEL reading of 0905, crankshaft senor. This is immediately after I changed the water pump and timing chains on my 95 maxima. The car runs, but hesitates and jerks at all speeds. I verified the chain locations on both camshaft and crankshaft sprockets before installing the timing chain case. I checked the resistance on the forward crankshaft sensor and it is fine. The rear one, I just checked it out visually. I am wondering if it anyone has experienced this after changing the timing chains. Any suggestions for solving this problem.
Thanks
