hawk brake pads

does anyone have the hawk brake pads? not the HP. Im looking to upgrade my rotors and pads, and i was interested in the greenstuff, but after reading some posts by brudaddy about the dusting, im not so sure. Then the raybestos got some bad reviews, so im interested in how the hawk pads perform. fill me in if you got experience with em.

Hawk HPS are very good pads. They are going to dust more than OEM, not that your wheels will be black in a few days, but they do dust.

There is no such thing as a good performance pad that doesnt dust. Good pads that give you good stopping power without fade = dust.

yeah i understand that the upgraded brakes will dust, but i meant in comparision to other performance brakes. If i were to get just new oem rotors, and not the brembo slotted, how would they perform?

OEM roters are just fine, slotted and all that other stuff isnt going to do much to change performance unless your in some serious track racing, which you probably would be considering a big brake kit anyways.

FYI, getting generic roters are not as good as OEM roters. The cooling veins inside are usually thinner and not as good
