What exactly is the point of a MEVI Variable Intake Runner Length Manifold Kit and what will it add to your car performance wise....I get the general concept but would just like a lil clarification....thanks

Not much to add to that except that it's not a true variable runner length intake. The butterflies open at high rpm to a second plenum that is closer to the intake valves, so that some of the pressure waves will reflect from it at a much higher frequency, thus improving volumetric efficiency at high rpm. The overall effect simulates a shorter runner length but is not as efficient as a true variable length runner system.
