I have a 1998 Nissan Maxima SE with a stock exhaust system that is starting to get some prety major rust. This is especially around the muffler all the way to the mid-pipe. I am looking into getting something that is FULL stainless steel and not stainless coated with regular metal underneath. This also would be a FULLY complete system with the muffler, mid-pipe, cat, y-pipe, and mounting hardware. Something like a Cattman. However $1200 is quite steep for the whole thing brand new, so what I was thinking about doing is getting it used from someone. Please tell me if this is a good idea, and the reason I am thinking about it is if it really is stainless steel, then it will never rust right? So also tell me if it would be a good idea of getting the muffler, mid-pipe, converter, and y-pipe used from someone.

I am not sure where I could go search for it, but probably will start with e-bay. Even if they would be asking $500 for the whole thing in good condition that would be a bargain for sure. Also please tell me if this is a good exhaust system overall. Thanks
