I wanted to put this in this forum so all could see it.

The sawblade rim I believe has always been thought to be light.
When i have saw a weight for it always its been like 16.5 lbs. Well today I weighed one on a certified digital scale today and I was amazed, the 15x6.5 rim we thought was a light weight came in weighing 19.755 lbs

I knew the sawblades were heavy. I weighed them a long time ago, just never posted the result. I weighed them on my bathroom scale and it weighed in at 19lbs. Just like you found out.

hmmmmm......didn't know that. I thought they were lighter than that.
In that case, my 99 SE-L wheels barely weigh more. Like a half a lb. more at that. I think I will keep these, thanks.
Good info to know.

Anyone know the weight for the honeycomb wheels? I have 205 size tires and I'm interested how wide it can take. I'm thinking of upgrading to a 225. Will there be any rubbing?

I wouldn't think the honeycomb would weigh much less than the sawblades or the 5-star's.

I think you should be okay with the 225. They are only 10mm wider than the stock size. They would esp be okay if you got the 225/50-R16, because they would be a little lower profile.
