Best way to reduce noise/bees?

OK, Ive got a great max. I almost feel bad saying this but- Its loud as he1l. If I wanted to do 1 thing to reduce WOT noise and that sometimes fun hornet noise w/o reducing power (ideally no power reduction AT ALLl), what would it be? B-pipe? Cut and place a resonator in it? I don wanna replace the 'uffler... but I dont like getting black flagged for noise at tracks either

Get rid of the fart pipe and broken tail-lights for starters.

Nice idea as I heard it might both increase power and reduce noise but.... have heard that it will destroy my pipes..?

Just curious.....how are you singled out for noise at a track? Not that I have your setup or anything, but there are plenty of other vehicles I can think of which are pretty loud and they all tend to be in the V8 range of things.

I have a flanged resonator section and a straight pipe for the same section. I originally ran just the straight pipe but couldn't stand the noise and installed the resonator, unbelievable difference. It doesn't drone on the highway etc and much quieter.

My exhaust was very raspy and loud at first (no resonator). Got my resonator installed a few days ago and now theres hardly any drone, no raspyness at all, and its much more smooth. Start up is also better, less vibration from the exhaust and its very smooth.

Cool, I will look into the resonator when I can.

BTW I got black flagged (actually the "meatball" flag - black flag with an orange circle in the middle) at laguna-seca where they have a somewhat ridiculous sound limit of 92 dB. The monterey neighborhood somehow has managed to get a RACETRACK to bend over and keep a sound limit on events that seems a bit too constraining... did I mention that its a RACE TRACK?

Oh, and the way they inforce it is there is a fellow who drives out to events and uses some sound measuring device on cars at points at the track.

I got tagged once at 93 dB. The grid chief said "You must have really been going for it" - damn straight!
