First of all, the only performance mod I have now is the CAI. I'll be getting the Warpspeed y-pipe shipped to me within this week. Anyway, I noticed that when I go WOT in first gear, the CAI would scream to life. The power that I feel was pretty good, plus the nice sound of the CAI. While I'm flooring it all the way, I feel like I'm getting a good boost of power, however, when the automatic shifts into second, the power seem to die off. Furthermore, the CAI doesn't scream loudly anymore. I asked this because my friend heard said that my CAI sounded nice and mean. So, he took a ride with me in my car. When I started off, the CAI growled meanly, and he liked it. However, when my car shifted into second, he just gave me the look of, "what happened?" He asked me what happened to the growl of the CAI. I just told him that I had no idea myself. Maybe, I just need more mods? Is my situation sounds normal?
