Help with car leaking

Hey guys, I got a 96 max 5 speed...Anyway lately everyday the cars leaking something and i looked underneath and its right where the tranny is. I dont know if this is a stupid question or not but do manual tranny's even have tranny fluid? It smelled pretty bad, not oil or anything. Any input would help

sounds like trans fluid.....GL4 is a nasty smelling fluid esp after being in the car for years.... take a close look at the axle seals... where the cv axles come out of the trans..... you may need to clean things up and keep an eye on the car to find the leak depending on how bad it is.....later

Alright, yeh it's definitely nasty smelling, I'll have to take a closer look then...thanks
