help! need additional places to hardwired 12V devices (rices) inside my car...
first of all, thx to DerekJ121 for helping me installing redmax screen + new HU. i also bought g-tech pro meter as well...but i'm running outta space for my 12V spiltter (1to4) to output powers to my rices, so please give me some suggestion where to hardwire it:
rice menu: (turns on when my headlight turns on)
1. 15" neon tube under passenger
2. 15" neon tube under driver
3. razo zax blue center rice light
can i hardwired all 3 of them to ash tray light? if not where else can i get 12v power so they all turn on when my headlight turns on?
nice menu:
1. cobra radar detector
2. g-tech pro meter
3. 300watt ac/dc power inverter
so far i have #1 + 3 plugged into my 1-4 12V splitter. i would like to hardwire them directly into one of the unused fuse. where fuse should i use? also if i do hardwire it into the fuse, do i remove the fuse, tap the red wire directly to the fuse (12v), and black wire to one of the bolt (ground)?
pardon me being on these stuff....

Splice the headlight signal wire to a relay, then use the relay behind the fused source to power all your accessories.
Then do the same, tapping a key-on power wire for the signal to a relay then use another fused power source
Then run all your accessories off the relays, its safer that way.
The inverter you should run on a seperate setup since it draws more power than the rest of the stuff.

what he said....i say hardwire them all in there...radioshack sells kits that let you have a 6ft cord with a inline fuse and a splicer to splice into wires...on the other end is are 3 female sockets. but doing it that way is messy and takes up alot of space.
hardwire the whole lot with the relay controlling them as Mr.Gone said. personally i'd install a switch to turn those lights off you may like them at 1st, but with time i'm sure you'll grow tired of them....
