What indiglo gauges fit a 98 SE?
What indiglo gauges fit a 98 SE?
I purchased a set off of ebay and realized they would not fit because I had the digital odometer. I then purchased another set made specifically for 98-99 and from the pictures they looked exactly the same. After trying to install them today the holes were slightly off and would not fit without drilling new ones. What gauges fit without having to drill new holes on a SE?
they sent you the ones for the 95-96, I had the same problem with the peg holes. I got mine from ProCarParts.com. I tried to send them back but the **** wouldn't take them back, he said that i was installing them wrong. would they still work if you drilled new holes? You'd still have to worry about the original holes looking sh!tty, right?
This has been addressed a bunch of times...but i kno ikno....no search.
Dont drill a hole...just pop out the bump stop on the old gauges...and draw a mark where they would have to go for the new gauges to fit. then just cut a hole for the bump stop (in the old gauges) and slide on the indiglos (I believe theres a write up on vqpower.com) and you should be fine. Ive done it on mine, just take your time and dont rush it and you will be good.
Sorry I dont have a pic but Ill try to get one
Hope it helps.
