I have a 96 Maxima and 2 weeks ago my check engine light came on and I used the ECU and got a code of 0903: The evap canister vent control valve. I took it into the shop and supposidley they fixed it, yet when I got the car back the check engine light was still on and they had a time trying to turn it off. Finally they did and said it was just a loose connection. Well 3 days later the check engine light goes on again, I run the code again and it came out 0903 once again. I call the shop and they say to bring it back in on Sat...Well 3 days later the day before I take it into the shop I'm driving and the check engine light goes off! I take it in the shop they say they cant find anything wrong. The next day while I'm driving the check engine light goes on again!!!! I didnt check the code this time, but that was yesterday and it's still on as of right now. I dont know what to do, because the shop keeps saying theres nothing wrong but why would my light keep coming on and off. Somethings going on...I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or know of what could be causing this?

 

yes, I know exactly what is wrong,,,,Ive seen it once before-----your car is possessed by the devil. you must hold a bible and yell "THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELLES YOU!" until the evil spirit is rid of your auto and all will be peaceful... jk, No clue

 

LOL yeah Maybe it is possessed...all I know is I'd like to get to the source of the problem, in case it is something serious before things get out of hand.
