Quick Help: Rear Strut-Pistion Nut..
Ok as you know I had all my springs/struts installed on friday, and I ****ed up my axle. I got that fixed today, and when I was driving it home, I hear a clunking noise coming from the rear. I get home and check it out. I apparently forgot to install the the stock rubber spacer things and I have a huge gap between the piston and the threads.
I was just wondering if you guys had an idea of how to get the piston nut off easily? When I turn it, the whole piston turns. I got it on with vise grips and an open end wrench, but that took forever. Also doing it this way, I had no way of torquing it, cuz the piston would keep spinning.
Please help =/

Oh BTW, am I supposed to use both of the rubber things? Cuz I cant seem to get thread if i have both of them on. And im using KYB dust boots, am I supposed to push the bump stop over the nub so that its on the piston, or am I supposed to leave it where it stays at the nub?

Yeah I held the flat part with some vise grips, but I just dont see how to torque it that way.....
