My Antenna, nothing too serious, but is fixable. The motor for it doesn't work, and I took that out when I found out someone had snapped off my antenna while I was in the movies. How much would a dealership charge for just the sliding part for the antenna? Little things like this really bug me, and I'm sure others too. Thing is, I'm not getting great reception. I wedged some cardboard up underneath to try and keep the metal connected as to where the antenna is and the reciever for it. It's working so far, but I have just about 1/3 of the rest of the antenna in there giving me reception.

How much do you think it will cost from the dealer to just get a new antenna?

-Thanks

you dont need to get it from dealrship. You can get it ordered from most auto supply stores. Autozone pepboys, etc.
This happened to me it cost 40 bucks for the part and labor.

My mechanic got it for me though. Hes a cool dude, probably got it at cost.

You mean the mast? I too have had that broken off, not by vandals but by a negligent brother. I got a new mast from Jerry-Rome Nissan for $22

Same happened to me when I went through a car wash without turning off my radio.

I just bought the whole motor and mast assembly off EBay for $20. It's easier to install than replacing the mast is.
