Yes you will, but do it yourself since it's easy. Use NGK plugs

You're gonna end up paying $200+ for $50 worth of parts if you let a shop do it.

What's involved in a tune up (for the DIY'er)? I've already replaced my plugs myself about 8 months ago.

Basic tuneup is the plugs, PCV valve, air filter, fuel filter, oil change, and checking your fluids and stuff. I also consider cleaning your throttle body & IACV as a part of the tuneup.

Also, use SeaFoam (get 2 cans):
1 can for fuel tank
1/2 can for oil (pour it in and change your oil after a few days of driving or something)
1/2 can into your brake booster hose (http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=308576)

You can also replace the coolant or tranny fluid. There is info on this stuff in the "How To" thread at the top or check the "Fluids and Lub" forum

It's in the how to
PCV valve: http://web.archive.org/web/200111091...k_service.html (link from How To thread) or http://forums.maxima.org/showpost.ph...4&postcount=38 (from FAQs)

IACV: http://forums.maxima.org/showpost.ph...27&postcount=2
The IACV is the metal thing next to the TB. It has 3 connectors on it (red/pink, brown/gray, and purple). You can see it right above the hand in this pic:

Do it all yourself.
It will give you a sense of accomplishment and you will save some money.

BTW, you will feel a difference when you tune her up.
