hello all:

i just got my stillen slotted rotors (i thought i ordered cross-drilled, but oh well). i was amazed that the slots are so small... 7 on each side. am i to really expect that these "grooves" are going to make my brakes work better?

i know that there is a lot of info in the search and i read them all, but i wanted to get some firsthand, real-life experience from people who have slotted rotors - i heard they "bite" harder (also shreds the pads quicker), do they warp as quickly? braking performance better or worse? do i have to heat the pads before they start working? etc?

i also got the stillen metal matrix pads.

thx all...
