Got Check Engine light 0407 code

I looked on your webpage and noticed that you have an aftermarket UDP. They very often tend to throw this code. May I ask the brand?
Anyways your upper sensor is very easy to see, it's on the timing chain cover. It's very rare that this would go bad. The lower one is near the UDP, I believe it is behind it. It is also doubtful that this went bad, I would rather think that the timing notches on your UDP broke off or are misplaced.

I have a Motorstorm underpulley. When I come out to start my car in the morning I get a squeaking sound from around the pulley area. Once I drive the car and it warms up it stops. What do you think it is? The code I pulled on the org said (crank shaft reference), it didn't identify which one.

Early Motorstorm timing rings were defective. Therefore if you have a Motostorm pulley, and a problem, there is good chance it is the timing ring. Plus the early design was somewhat flawed (the adhesion of the metal tabs to the aluminium was too weak) which contributes as well. If you don't have a Motostorm pulley, it could be anything. Could actually be a bad crank sensor, timing ring, bolt, etc.

I wonder how did the other guy find out it was the ring and when did they start making the new ones.
