Skyline body kit owners!!!

Okay guys, i wanna see the different styles that everybody got to make their Maxima unique. I know some of you guys just hate the Skyline but decided to mix it up with other ground effects. Please post pictures of your cars and list what do you have on.

I'll start with mine. I have the all urethane Skyline body kit form Wicked design bodykits. Here is a picture. I have a few more at my cardomain address.

Your car looks great! Three things I (when I say I, I mean I) would do: Tint those windows (but I guess you want people to see the hard done to the interior), Paint the altezza and Drop that biatch! I think it will look crazy after these "mods".

I have the Skyline front end as well. A lot of replies here are about dropping it, Im glad I have not dropped mine just yet for the sheer fact that the Skyline bumper is already much lower to the ground than the stock so I have scraped it on several roads with the steep entry ways to shops around here in San Antonio, it is to the point were I have put some shops on the no longer shop here list or I have a better, yet longer route to get there. Once she is no longer my daily driver I will lower her, till then I need that space for normal driving here in SA or I fill one day it may get to the point were it may start ripping apart.

well i know that if i get a skyline kit i wouldn't drop it because i would hate to pay that much for the kit and paint and have it getting ripped off or cracked. btw what would a skyline kit look like with stock SE wheels and no drop? possibly look good with painted gunmetal stock wheels? o will the stock foglights fit in the skyline kit?

i'll prolly be doing the skyline kit by the end of next month, urethane front and rear with ionic sides or fiberglass skyline sides, ordering a CF hood next week, it should look straight on a green max, i'll have stock 97+ 5 spokes on for a while till i recover from buying the body kit and have enough for some rims, nice pix though, ezemaxima looks sick, def. agree tints and lowered would complete it, and maybe tape off the chrome trim around the windows but def. love the blue. I've got maxspeed springs so hopfully it wont be to low with the kit on. lets keep seein pix, anyone got a green max with a skyline kit?

If you are talking about my car,

1) my car is tinted at 35% and i don't want to go any darker because tint tickets cost $70 per window here.

2) I don't like the look of the pianted altezzas

3) My car was drop before i took it in to the bodyshop but i had to put back the stock spring so they can paint the bottom part of my ground effects. And also my car can barely able to make in to the bodyshop with the drop i had.

Here is a picture of my car dropped

I bought my rear bumber from this guy!!Anyway yeah if you have anykit and drop it you will scrape every where.I can't get a aglinment cuz my car won't go up the ramp!I can't go certian palces,or ride with 4 people. And what hurts the most is i molded my whole kit so nothing is comming off! Also if my front lip wasn't abs plastic i whould cracked it by know.I been rideing like this for about 10 months now and it kinda sucks!(wish i never molded)

Hey, thats right, wow, that seems like a long time ago, how did it work out?

Now for all that have the Skyline front hooked up. How many had problems with the corner lights like I had and am still having? I had to saw the bar where the second light should have been inserted because it was too far to the right of where it shouldve been making it useless, I cut the bar because the slot was also too tight for the lights so I needed to stretch it and force them in. They stayed in for several months without anything else supporting them with how tight it was but then comes another ground scrape and the right side came loose, so now I am using 2 sided tabe to keep it in there till I can find something better.

Guys, PLEASE lower your cars if you're getting the skyline bodykit. I had the Stillen/Ionic combination on for a while with the stock suspension, and it looked pretty stupid. And that's with a pretty subtle kit. Something as drastic as the skyline kit will look downright rediculous at the stock height.

I don't know if I can ever get used the skyline front bumper. I love the rear bumper though. I wanted that for a long time and I finally got it on. The fit is almost perfect on it. It's not bad at all for an aftermarket body part.

You serious? that a 35% tint? looks pretty clear to me
You sure a 1.5" would affect that much? It will looks much better IMO well but it's yours. Nice job anyway I'd like to make my max look like that so much but man...money don't come as fast as they go... especially here when the gas price is 1$CAN/L !!!That's just crazy...

if its your daily driver why would you mold? its not worth it, expensive and very difficult to keep safe. just get a clean kit and have the shop do a good install before they paint it.

Yup they are 35% tint all around and 5% on the windshield strip but since my interior is still out off the car, the inside is all white making the tint look lighter.

Here is a pic of my car when it was white with Stillen grounds
