looks clean. itd be better if it were functional. did you have to drill a hole in there to mount it?
speaking of functional, has anyone replaced our motorized antenna with a s2k style antenna? i think itd look much cleaner with it.

What does everyone think about the roof mount antennaes on the new A4 & A6 Audi's? I heard it is for satilite radio, navigation and such. Reception must be pretty excellent?

i think ur firebird friend is truely enjoyin his time behind the wheel for even those few seconds. the antenna looks good but for 10 bux more, id rather take the exea static release antenna which the angle can be adjusted from 0 to 50 degrees.

ahahaha...the sad thing is you are exactly right. He loves every chance he gets to drive my car bc its so much more powerful and solid feeling than his firebird v6. This antenna is adjustable too...the pics have the antenna at the highest angle. Autofreak had the Exea along with a few other brands but I think it looks too long...

Mr****s95SE
Nope not functional at all, supposed to be a static remover but I doubt it does anything. It's held on by double-sided tape. I'm pretty sure bigsadler had a s2k antenna on his car...functional too.

Alfonso irwindale is 1/8th mile rite?

Here is a link to check out the new Audi antenna. Just use your mouse to rotate the image to see it from all 360 degrees

I like the roof racks, Ludacris.
I also like the look of the "fake" antenna.
I don't really have the problem of not liking the look of the stock antenna because I don't ever use it. I just listen to cd's and it is rarely ever up.

What kind of roof rack is that?
Is it a bike rack?
How hard was it to put on?
How much did it run you?
I am wanting to get into mountain biking more, but the bike carried I have attaches to the trunk and I don't want it there because I don't want problems with my spoiler.

brudaddy- yeah my stock antenna is never up either bc I use my iPod like 99% of the time...thats how I could get away with the fake antenna...it would look dumb with two antennas up at the same time lol.

The roofrack is some generic pepboys roofrack my friend bought to carry the wheels/tires he uses to drift with I was trying it out because I'm planning to get a rack to carry bikes on too.

It's real easy to put on, the roof racks are held on by four clips total. Just clip each one onto the weather stripping inside the door...tie it so it's secure and close the door.

Costed 20$ or so at Pep Boys but dude I honestly wouldnt trust it with a bike...I went like 95 mph when I was messing with a WRX and the roofrack slid back like 6 inches or so...plus it left some marks on my buddys roof. I'd look into yakima or one of the more well known brands.

Yeah, I would definitely go with Yakima. That one is well known, but just very expensive.
I think you can get one of those on there and not even mess up your car, if it is done right.
I would think you would probably have to have it professionally installed, but that would be worth it.
Around here, I see a lot of BMW's and VW's with the Yakima bike racks on there.
I have also thought about getting into Kyaking. After my white water adventure this weekend on some Class 5's, it would be a blast!
