Knock sensor
I went to auto zone because (cel) was on they said the code was for a bad Knock sensor. So I looked in the haynes manual and got a ohm meter from work and checked it for continuity and that said it was fine which one should I believe. Also checked prices, they are high in my area is there somewhere you can buy them cheaper than 160-180.
thanks for any help

Get it from ebay, courtesy nissan (not sure of site), or http://www.nissandealer.com/jerry-rome/part_catalog.cgi with "maxima" promo code. If you do replace it here's how: http://www.motorvate.ca/mvp.php/507, http://www.skippynet.com/maxima/knocksensor.htm.

No, it's not just your KS. KS on it's own will NOT trip a CEL. Get your codes read again so you don't have to needlessly replace your KS if in fact, the ECU is throwing the code because something else is malfunctioning.
