Im the king of my Maxima World.

 

GLE looks smooth with no wing and comes with leather only problems is there all auto.

 

Sorry dude, SE all the way, (cause it comes in a 5-speed) And the GLE has those ugly chrome door handles.

 

SE, just because I have one. But it has to be fully loaded, with a 5-speed.

GXE 5-Speeds. All light weight. None of all that extra bull**** you don't need.

 

Probably the '99 SE limited 5 speed. But if we are talking bang for the buck, buying new, a 5 speed GXE makes a good argument.

SE b/c you can get it as loaded as a GLE, + it has the cool white-faced gauges

 

Fully loaded SE hands down. Doesn't get any better than that.

 

se with all the same options of a gle, w/ white face gauges.... basically an se fully loaded

 

GXE because you can use that extra $$$ you save to make it faster dollar for dollar than any of the others.

Fine, forget about all the other international models such as the S, SL, SEL, S Touring, etc

 

the SE because itr has the white gauges that I will never change for anything

 

on 4th gens, I like the SE because I think the spoiler looks good, but I don't like it when they add it afterwards to a GLE, because you will still have that rear deck brake light and the spoiler light.

Option for a 5spd on SE also makes it better.

If I didn't choose the SE, it would be GXE like Ian said. I mean, they are a little lighter and if you are going to replace the wheels and stuff anyway, why not save some on that stuff in the first place?

 

SE, white faced guages did it in for me.

 

I had my spoiler added - I have no 3rd brake light - it is removable, you know....

Nissan even has a plastic cover tha covers where the hole used to be.

 

Boooo...no SE-Ls to choose from?!?

Oh well, we all know SEs are the most sought after.

I would have done the same thing.
However, I know that most people don't take the time to take that light out and make it look right.
I would definitely do the GXE and do that, but if people are going to leave that light in, I would say get the SE with spoiler light.

SE no doubt but it would have to be the 97-99 SE, but in the GLE form I like the 95-96 better. This is easy when people by GXE's or GLE's they end up trying to make it look like an SE, but you never see a person with an SE trying to make it look like a GLE or GXE.

 

i have to agree, the GSE, or the GXE that is an SE wannabe, like mine is the best. i also find it funny that in the poles, the GXE rules over the GLE

I would have to say a "FULLY LOADED SEL" is a better Maxima. Do I sound a bit partial or cocky? LOL Could be because I own one!
