you have a gold tip on that beast?
A friend of mine is about to buy a 914, kind of like that. It does not have the engine like that though. They are a good looking car anyway. I am a Porsche lover...esp the 911 series. I am in love with this 911 turbo (black) around here that I see from time to time. It is like a 2002 model and wow! Right now, that friend is trying to restore his 60's model Porsche 912 (5spd) to sell so that he can get that 914.

Yup- bigger shoes! Less wheelgap! Happy about it, now the car looks more serious.
RE:Porsches- I hear 914s handle really really well... mid-engine, weight balance and all. Probably a kick to drive although I would guess that they lack acceleration?
In 2006 porsche is coming out with the new 997 Carerra turbo. DROOOOL!
Of course, if $$$ was no object I would "consider" this car (meaning I would RUN to the dealership)
However, I would also love to get this ride (if they decide to go to production with it):

re:clutch
talked to a service rep at the dealership, he didnt say that the pedal setting would cause the slippage.... So Im kinda feeling back to sqare 1. The mechanic who did the install said that the clutch was hydraulic so he couldnt adjust it. What to do what to do...?

Where do you live? I think NASA is all over the place, check out www.nasaproracing.com or if you are in CA I can recommend a couple good driving clubs. *EDIT* Oh- Arizona I see, a few cool tracks out there Ill bet...

What pads are you running now?
What pads are you running now?
Im currently on "standard" pads but they seem fine.. Akebono ceramic. Kinda funny story how I wound up on them. Midday at laguna (HPDE before last) my pads went away, totally... I cheese grated them off w/ my slotted/drilled rotors after a hard lap or two. So I did an emergency replacement at the nearest mechanic and thats what he could get. The guy came through big time and I managed to still get all my track time. Lucky break...
