Will shifter trim from a 97 GLE fit a 96 GLE?

Will shifter trim from a 97 GLE fit a 96 GLE?
I want to buy the shifter trim from a 97 GLE but want to know if it fits in the 96 the same before I buy it. Does anyone have any experience with this? thanks for any help

yes, EXACTLY THE SAME. Only difference in interior of 96 GLE vs 97 GLE is steering wheel, the homelink visor and cup holders. thats it.
