Since the VQ30DET is out of the question will the VQ35DE out of a 02 maxima fit in my 95 max. I have 160,000 miles on my engine and want to go turbo but on an engine with less miles ?[COLOR=Blue]

Yes, yes it will. Do you have the money to do it? I REALLY DOUBT IT. This isn't like swapping a b18 into a civic DX which is where I guess you got the idea speed ricer.

i had wanted to dothe same thing but i had my hope crushed due to the fact that i hear u need to swap out the enitre wiring harnes or something like that. u could find a thread in the stickys about this topic. and dont listen to big-d, its not all about how much it cost, if you wanna do it it may just take you alot of time.

You're looking at a lot of $$$ here. Get in contact with tilley99, he's doing it. He has a 95 max with 160k, if he had the money for the swap he'd also have the money to drive something else.

i have money to pay for a newer car but i want to modify this is not always if you have money or not is about being different in my case theres only 3 known modified maximas in Puerto Rico lots of accords ,wrx some specs v and a zillion civics can you imagine the face of 2000 accord owner when he got beaten by 1997 auto maxima when i first bough my car or the face of the hyunday tiburon 2004 the very same day he bough the car when he accelerated me at the stop light and even with a bad ks he din't catch me PRICELESS and beleive my car is almost stock just a k&n panel filter brand platinum plugs thats it.I'm thinking about doing the same swap a 3.5 (wich i already pay whole wrecked 3.5 max)into a 4 gen my only real problem is my wife's car got stolen 5 months or so ago so the max is the only car in my house right now so until i buy another car it has to wait.

i'm gonna check on the whole wiring harness thing and keep you'll posted i found the motor and trany on ebay for $800.00 USD
