I posted this also in the general discussion area.

Has anyone ever put a 5th generation center console (part between the front seats) into a 4th generation max? I wondering if it would work. I know there would be some fabrication but how much? I'm asking because I hate the small cup holders and I love the flip up arm rest.

Ya know, to each his own, but i like the console in my 99 better than my uncles 2000. it just seems built better, the plastic is more "plasticy" in the 5th gen. even the "leather" went downhill. My leather and his are like night and day. his feels like pure plastic- yuck.

 

Anyone ever try this yet??

 

hey not a bad idea....I actually like their hand rest also ....let us know what happens.......
