Having a hard time changing my Knock Sensor...

Well, I gave it a shot & it just frustrated me...
I can't even get the socket in there to unscrew the bastard...

Any suggestions as to what's the best tool to use?

Any suggestions at all?

Thanks,
Sam

I used extensions for the ratchet, around 14-16". Then at the end of that I had a 12mm swivel socket. Aim a light down there and try to get it on the bolt. When you get it on, hold the extension with your hand to keep it firm when you turn the ratchet. Of course you could ask a neighborhood kid to help you out for a couple bucks.

Long Flex Head Gearwrench Ratchet Is The Best, Or A Long Range Off Set Box Wrench (12 Points) Does The Job Too, But Much Harder.

if it seems siezed you can spray some stuff on there and drive you car around till your engine gets hot. then go in there with an extension like everyone suggests. then let it cool of and finish unscrewing it by hand if you can fit your hand in there. I have a magnetized 12mm socket which came in very handy. if you can, pay a kid to reach in there and start the bolt for installation so you dont accidentally crossthread that ish.
