too much miles

I just saw an ad in the want ads and it was a max with 216k 5spd says it has bose and many options for $2k. Its a 1995 se.

Do you think that this is too much miles for a max or should i take and see what it needs and drive it.

id pay $1500 for sure if they would go down, otherwise its totally up to the condition of the car, it's worth that much in parts.

It was probably a comuters car for it to be in the nh area I would bet its highway miles. and highway miles dont mean much at all as long as the person took care of it

If you could get them to 1500, a KS is minimal, replacement is easy and cheap, and that doesnt seem like a reason not to buy a car.
