Help please Windsheild Wiper Pivot removal???

hey guys,
my windshield wiper pivots are faded and the paint is flaking off. i wanted to take them off and glassbead them then repaint. i was wondering if you guys could tell me how. once i pop the cap off the there is one 14 mm bolt which i have loosened and then i try to pull the pivot arm off and it doesn't wanan come off at all. is there a trick i am missing. my pivot arms looks terrible i don't know why they are so faded and cracked up. look at this pic. that silver on the windshield is what i am talking about thanks guys

Thats all there is to it, take the 14mm nut off and a little bit of wiggling and pull straight out and it should come off. Watch out though since there are little teeth that you dont want to strip.

No special tool is needed. You just need to push down on the flexible section of the wiper arm(in the middle) to make the part that goes over the bolt even to pull up on it.
I repainted mine but I think my enamel is too glossy. I think they would have looked good just primed.
