It will look like crap and won't make a huge handling difference. It won't hurt the car though. IMO you should lower it and get rims later. It'll look better than stock or rims with stock height and will handle much better.

i just lowered my whip on 18's....look at my signature. i have sum pics b4 the drop on my org page.....you will have no problems driving around on 18's...they will make the car go slower without the drop, and you still will have that huge wheel gap. i got a whole lot of compliments on my setup b4 my drop, but thats because my wheels are so skinny. but as soon as i dropped it, it looks more aggressive (H&R drop, Tokico HP Struts). Also turning corners is easier, and u feel the pleasure on highway driving. Local roads have to much potholes in most cities so its real annoying anytime u hit something. I miss being free to drive on city streets without worrying about killing my car, but I love the aggressiveness in its looks, and the highway driving.

Overall it depends on how u plan to spend your money. im saving up for tokico illuminas because i want a real soft ride....i went with h&r's for the same reason. your going to spend a lot on your drop once u throw in the idea of illuminas....then u might have to pay for someone to put them on if u cant yourself. but the rims are gonna cost you more....do u like buying the most expensive parts firsT? or do u like putting on the cheaper stuff and building up? i personally would just get the 18s first how i did in the past...and worry bout the drop later (except hiway racers will post you on the forums as NOT HAVING A DROP!) .....
I honestly enjoyed getting the drop later because i already knew how my 18s looked, and when i put the drop on....
SWEETNESS , made me even more proud

You Will Need Some Aftermarket Shocks (Illuminas Are Great), And Some Springs, Whichever You Prefer. I Have Sprint Springs And Tokico Illuminas With KYB Dustboots The Ride Is Awesome, IMO. It's Not Hard To Lower Your Car At All, Go Search VQPOWER.COM. You Will Need A Breaker Bar And A Torque Wrench. You Can Rent A Strut/Spring Compressor At Autozone.

Definetly Lower The Max Before Some Wheels. I Suggest Everyone With Stock Ride and Aftermarket Wheels Go Take Up The Trails

My God It's Hard To Type Like This!!
