Around the US, what is a tint running these days? I have a 99 Maxima and want to do it all the way around? Just wondering as I don't want to paid too little and get a crappy job, but I don't want to be ripped off either!

titing a max is rather a ***** I've heard so make sure you get flat-rate pricing, with an upfront estimate. Had a buddy try to do mine (has done 25+ cars with excellent results), and he gave up on my max.

in va i called up a tint shop and standard was around 199 and all metallic was close 300, a lil high? they use formula 1 tint also...also how do they tint the rear window, since its such a tight area to work in, what do they actually do to get the tint on their without any mistakes?

212.00 for quality tint 20% here. Remember you get what you pay for. Some people use cheap tint, some still cut the tint by hand instead of lazer. Some tints dont have lifetime warrenties. The companies will give a warrenty on their labor but not always on their tint.

200 for a quality job. and make sure they go all the way up and leave no spaces. Spaces look really tacky when you roll the window down, but the rear window is impossible to do without having a space at the side. Oh well.
