How come you set it to 3200 instead of 5200? Does it then open at 3200 rpms instead of 5200? Also are there any instructions as to which wire is the power, ground, signal, etc? If not could you give me a write up? I don't think my Harlan works all the time either.

from what i have read about most of the harlan = junk just my opinion
im talking about the summit rpm switch.from what i was told about the summit switch it was made for a v-8 engine not a v-6. and you have to set it at 3200 to open at 5200 or 3400 to open at 5400.if you buy the summit you get instructions on how to wire it.i used the grey wire to open my ac delco solenoid and it works great..i would get rid of the harlan and buy the summit.
