yeah, why buy something that is somewhat unknown when there are tons of people that have either Warpspeed or Budget y-pipes on their Maximas and they love them. Plus, they are a lot cheaper than that.

Keep an eye out for the group deals for a Warpspeed y-pipe or just go to www.budgetexhaust.com for one of those. They come out to like $180 U.S. plus shipping.

I got my WSP one for $160 shipped in a group deal. That is a steal! I love it!

but the warpspeed y-pipe is made of aluminized steel, rather than the stainless steel the federal/california y-pipe is made of... is aluminized steel as good of a material as stainless steel?

The Budget y-pipe that a lot of guys have a love is SS. Get it....it will still be cheaper than that one you are looking at.

...FYI...when it says Federal/California y-pipe...that is all of them. You have to get whatever your car is....either FED spec or CALI spec. I am pretty sure yours is going to be FED spec, as they didn't start making the CALI spec until 99.
