How to transfer airbag

I changed my steering column, and I need to transfer my airbag from the old one to the new one, what are the proper procedures to do this? Thanks

Same question here. I've seen a few people with 97-99 steering wheels on their 95-96's, how did you guys do it? I bought an OEM leather wrapped wheel to replace my whimpy plastic one, and I am concerned about replacing the airbag. Will a dealer do this?

Thanks.

disconnect neg. battery cable for 15+ minutes. get torx bits with a hole in the middle. take out the criuse control cover and the cover on the other side of the steering wheel. open the cover on the bottom of the wheel to disconnect the airbag wire. then take out one torx bolt on each side and thats it.
