stock se 16's to stock se 17's

stock se 16's to stock se 17's

Has anyone gone from the stock se 16's to the 5th generation 17's. without mods. And if so could you tell the difference in preformace with the extra wieght? I guess this is to anyone with aftermarket wheels but especially to the ones ridin on the 5th gens

I have friends that went to 5th gen 17" SEs and they suffer a good .2-.4 in the 1/4. That was enough for me to say no.

5th Gen SE's are considerably more heavy. They fit with no problem but you'll be slower... That and you'll have a mighty fine wheel gap without a drop

remember, not only do you go slower when accelerating, but you'll stop slower too.
