I never said HE stole those wheels. Just because you buy something off e-bay or elsewhere doesn't guarantee that it wasn't stolen in the first place. That's all I was implying when I said it!
Anyway, the reason I thought they may be stolen is because they obviously look brand new, even the tires more so because of the color marks. Also, I don't care it they were stolen or not because they look good so who cares. I just thought it was funny.
Why was it funny? Well a few years back I owned a 91 Accord DX, with these sh!tty stock rims. I knew ppl who knew ppl who knew ppl (you get the idea) that stole BRAND NEW STOCK wheels for all kinds of vehicles - mostly Asian makes. Anyway, I bought 4 brand new 97 Accord EX wheels with brand new michellin tires for under $350. I later checked and the dealer wanted close to $1500 for all this - I'm not kidding.

I had (have) a set of those on my '95 GLE with the exact same size tires, but with Illuminas. My car is even Pebble Beige! With the slight drop, it really looked good, BUT it rode pretty bad on the 101 Fwy going to work. Sooo. I went to 17's for a better ride. The 18's never rubbed except at extreme lock.

I disagree, in general, with resurrecting threads. Too many WHINE that 'noobs' do no search just get all uppity when they post in an old thread... (contingency inc) If their comment does not contribute, clarify, or seek specific help that is not already answered, I can understand flaming them. Other then such cases, I say sit down and stop being whiny female dogs.
In this case, band Cpt Dumb-dumb and his reading failure.
Side Note
Does no one find it odd (re: the back-and-forth of BOSS and MaxedOutOfCash) no one mentioned the painfully obvious: That he got the wheels from a .org member who had them on his 6th gen max?? How could they be stolen if he bought the rims from someone who got them off THEIR car? And I think BOSS completely missed the DIRECTION of the comment - Complain to the seller not the buyer.
The logic train has now derailed.
