will check engine light automatically go off?
i just replaced a bad knock sensor in the max... from checking it before the read out said it was a bad sensor. my question now, will the check engine light automatically go off? or do i have to reset it? thanks
The code should go away, however the KS won't trip the light, so you probably have another code in there.
*edit* You're in the wrong forum though, so my info may be incorrect. With a 2002 you want to be in the 5th gen forum.
