Change to Digital Climate and Bose Cd Player?

I have a 96 Maxima not sure about the trim though. I see some stuff on Ebay where they are selling the digital climate control and the bose cd player. Should I buy them and will it be hard to install? Should I just buy the aftermarket radio instead?

No you shouldn't.

*edit* with a 2004 you want to be in the 6th gen forum.

w/ going to a digital climate control, it's possible but a lot of work involved w/ wiring and sensing equipment that needs to be installed, so it's not just swapping the manual controls for the digital ones

bose-wise, i've heard mixed reviews on this factory system, those that have/had bose didn't like it and installed an aftermarket stereo, and some who don't have bose have liked the bose so much just by riding in other ppl's max's w/ bose that they ordered the parts from other .org members and have upgraded to bose in thier max's, so it's really a matter of preference

If the car did not come equipped with a BOSE headunit, then you can't simple swap one in. So unless you want to change the speakers, I'd go with an aftermarket HU.
