your buzzer should have two wires. plug one (red) into the orange wire and the other (black) into the green w/orange tracer and your done. there's three wires that are green w/orange tracer. just pick one splice into it. really simple mod.

When I did it, I did not use the relay and it works fine. I'm not sure which wire is which, I believe the green/orange is the positive (red) wire for the buzzer and the orange is the negative (black), I'm not 100% sure because it's been awhile since I did this. Just use a razor blade or pocket knife or something to strip a section in the middle of each wire, wrap the stripped end of the buzzer's wire around it, maybe solder it if you really want to, and tape it up and you're good to go. If you accidentally switch the wires it's no big deal, just if you're going to solder check to make sure it works before you solder it. Oh and don't forget to pull the fuses before starting.

It's also not a bad idea to use an extra length of wire so you can actually put the buzzer underneath the bumper because you can barely hear it if it's in the trunk. Good luck.

EDIT: wow my internet is slow... the reply that was made while i was writing this has the wires right, i had them switched

i got it done. i did use a relay. if it work without one what a waste of time and money. ****! that write up really sucks. we should do a new one that has better picrures and is much easier to understand.
