Increase the range of the stock alarm

any1 know if i can buy anything that will increase the range of the stock alarm, i think you have to be like 50 feet away to unlock or lock car, or even turn of alarm.

I've never had to be 50ft. away from my car to arm/dissarm it. I have been able to arm it from from less then 1ft. away many times before. Now if you want to know how to increase the distance of how far away from the vehicle you can be to arm/dissarm it then I can't help you there. But I can tell you an old trick to get alittle more range from your remote. What you do is take your remote & bring it up just under your chin & push the button. Never exactly new why or how this works but it does. So give it a shot.

yea putting it under your chin actually does work... how old is the battery in your remote? Mine needs to be changed as the range has gotten to be where I have to be like 10-15 feet away for it to work... before the battery started to die in the remote, I was able to use it about 70-75 feet away

I'm pretty sure it has to do with your cavities in your mouth.

My remote for my 97 works from 150+ feet if there is nothing in the way between the car and the remote. A fresh remote battery should help you out with the range.
