Control Arm and Strut Bering Help

Control Arm and Strut Bering Help
Recently I had my suspension checked out and the mechanic said that my control arm was noisy........ does that mean it's going bad? Do I need to replace it?
Another question I had was since my strut berings are bad, do I need to replace the strut mount? If I buy new strut mounts, do new berings come with it?
Any and all help is deeply appreciated. Thanks.

wether or not you buy struts mount it all depends if they are bad or not i would say yes buy them becasue that way you change both the bearing and the mounts and not worry about that later as for the control arm 2 things may gone bad 1 is the bushings 2 the ball joint most people change only the ball joint and replace the bushings with better ones like energy suspension urethane or you can buy replacement control arms annd change only the bushings or just buy replacement control amrs and use it as is

If your control arm is noisy it could be the bushings are bad and rubbing metal against metal which means you'd have to take the arm out and get new bushings pressed in... or your ball joint is bad... you dont need to take out the arm for the ball joint... However since your already there with either one of these problems, I'd pull out both control arms, get a set of Energy Suspension Urethane bushings and a pair of Ball Joints and get everything done at once. While your at it, get some sway bar links and sway bar bushings... you'll be set! All of the above in just parts is less than $100 so its not too bad...and the actual labor isnt too bad either... just remember to get it aligned later
