I heard the idle is a little off and there is a CEL, but don't know if thats accurate.

See you didn't even try to look for it so here you go Lazy. If you send them a 5spd ECU why wouldn't it work? You take out the ECU from your car or buy another one that goes with your car, year, model, trim and they will program it for you.

what he is asking if he got JWT auto ecu. would it work on his car.

I assume it would work since stock auto ecu will work on 5spd (not vise versa), you will get CEL though. I would call up JWT.

Sorry, missed that part. Yes it will work, there will most likely be a code popping up related to the auto tranny but the car will run fine.

yea it will work, your idle will blip a little when you shift from neutral into a gear, and you will get a cel relating to some auto tranny related thing, but the performance will not be affected negatively.
