Clutch/Flywheel install

Schools back in session, so its taken me a while to finish my project, but i finally got my new clutch and flywheel in. I have an ACT/Fidanza combo, 107k on the car, about 100 miles on the clutch. I only get the bogging in 4th around 2100 to 2400 rpm, then it comes right out of it. No other gears do it, and the bogging is minimal as it is. Just figured id add my results to the masses.

Anyone know if a MAF from the 3.5 will work?

Anyone else try switching out the MAF? I changed my intake and seemed to have a big effect on the bogging. I went from hacked airbox to hybrid intake and it made the bogging a lot worse. Then I went to a Place Racing style CAI and the bogging it almost completely gone.

changed my MAF...gave the ECU a few days to relearn, and the stuttering between gears is gone.

not a little better, not barely noticeable, but completely gone.

anyone who is still having this issue should change your MAF immediately.

wow, that's a lot of posts. i have this problem with my original clutch/flywheel combo. you guys with aftermarket clutches are probably seeing the problem more because of the increased clamping force. i do have a dirty JWT cone filter on. could that be clogging up the maf? maybe it's time for a new MAF and filter.

Happy to hear that you solved your problem. Im going to change my MAF soon, hopefully it fixes my bogging and loss of power. How much did you pay for yours? New or used?
