I looked all over the board but didn't find an answer...
Are Radar detectors legal in New York (5 boroughs)?

Any one ever get caught with one, if so what happened?

Will I run into any problems for driving with one and getting stopped?

Can you guys recommend any good ones?

Why are you searching for that on the ORG? Look it up on google. Look up state laws and stuff or DOT laws.

Looking it up wont necessarily let me know, what happened when someone got caught with one.

I was looking for personal experiences.

Unless some laws have changed, the only place you can't legally use a radar detector is in VA.

They are definitely legal in NY.
