anyone had a bad coolant temp sensor b4? I don't have any codes, but I did in the past a long time ago, then I replaced my knock sensor and it went way, haven't seen it since...

what symptoms did any of you have?

 

I replaced one in a 95 Max that the owner said "didn't drive right".
I usually fix and clear check engine lights before doing any further troubleshooting, and this time it worked.

 

I got the coolant temp sensor code when my knock sensor went bad, the dealer tested it and said the coolant sensor was fine. I replaced the knock sensor and the other code went away.
