On our 1998 maxima se 5 speed it still has the stock clutch, we drive the car pretty hard and now heres the interesting part, the car has 260,000km and the clutch is still running fine but the throw out bearing is going, but it seems kinda weird that the clucth is fine. How long has your stock clutch lasted and what is a good type of clutch to replace it with, it gets drivin alot of highway and stop and go so i want a smooth engageing clutch, hows the act stage 1 clutch because the car has mods comming soon.....thanks

 

110K Miles on stock clutch and still going. I beat it to **** every day too Gotta wake up the neighbors at 7AM.

 

changed mine at 165,000

 

125. and was still fuctioning, but caught 2nd gear a bit slow. changed to exedy stock replacement because 125k just seemed too long for a clutch.
